Ion Generation

Airlock™ uses Bipolar Ionization Technology to clean the air. This scientific approach uses two carbon fiber brush poles, one positively and the other negatively charged, to split water vapor (H2O) into positively charged hydrogen ions (H+) and negatively charged oxygen ions (O2-).

These air purifying ions are then dispersed into the airflow, circulating through the boat's air conditioning and ducting.

Ion Flow

Once the positively charged hydrogen ions (H+) and negatively charged oxygen ions (O2-) are created, they are released into the airflow within the boat. These ions travel through the boat's ducts, carried by the air conditioning system.

As the air moves through the ducts, the ions are evenly distributed throughout the entire boat, reaching every corner and crevice.

Ion Discharge

The positive and negative ions produced by Airlock™ are released through the boat's interior via the air vents.

This effective ion distribution dramatically reduces odors, smoke, allergens, mold spores, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other air contaminants that are typically encountered within boat environments.

Particle Neutralization

Airlock's polarized ions proactively neutralize a wide array of harmful air contaminants mid-air by attaching to their surface and disrupting their molecular structure.

As these charged ions bond with odor-causing particles and airborne pollutants, they cause the contaminants to clump together and become too heavy to remain airborne. This clumping process causes the particles to drop from the air and get captured by the AC filter.

By effectively removing airborne pollutants responsible for odors, mold spores, allergens, dust, bacteria, and pet dander, Airlock™ significantly reduces harmful particles and creates a more comfortable indoor environment on your boat.

Long-Lasting Effect

Airlock's Bipolar Ionization generates durable charged ions that target and eliminate air contaminants at their source. Impressively, these ions convert back into water molecules, allowing the air purification process to continue indefinitely.

This cycle ensures ongoing air purification, maintaining a consistently clean air atmosphere inside your boat.
